DAY 10: March 20th 2013-Wednesday
Just found out we are moving YAY. Closer to my husbands work which I am over the moon about. Paying for gas has been a nightmare. I haven't been working out/stretching like I should have, but I have been packing, so I haven't been completely off my track. I have been making sure to take my vitamins and am looking forward to a weigh in this Friday, even though I am aware I haven't lost weight. Its the fact I know I haven't gained any weight that is still a happiness in its own. I have been taking my vitamins, despite that I have grown to hate them, but I manage to choke them down. It has also helped me remember to eat breakfast every morning. I had a white peach for breakfast, that was apparently not enough and after I took my vitamins I felt really really sick. Right now I need to go do a few things around the house. More updates to come soon!

Day 4: Measurements
DAY 4: March 14th 2013-Thursday
Today I decided to do measurements of my body to not only help motive me, but to also see my progress. I took pictures in a swim suit I bought a year after our daughter was born, Summer 2011, to use during our cruise. I wore it ONCE during the cruise and it hasn't been on my body since. I am hoping this will help motivate me so I can wear it this summer and feel good about my self. So here it goes....
BUST: 40 inches
UPPER ARM: 11 inches
WAIST: 33 1/2 inches
HIPS: 39 inches
BUTT: 41 inches
THIGH: 23 inches

Day 3: aches and pains
DAY 3: March 13th 2013 - Wednesday
On day one I managed to have a mini dance party in the living room with my two year old daughter. She wore her princess dress and we rocked out to Pandora. We danced, jumped and spun around. It was honestly really fun! That night, my legs hurt BAD. I was almost in tears. But I was glad I was in pain, why?! Because no pain no gain right?! I also started a food log, until my daughter ripped it out of my notebook. So for now, no food log! But I am trying to keep track of what I eat mentally. For dinner I had turkey Kielbasa brown rice and green beans. Plus some homemade almond bread.
On day two I had two eggs for breakfast as well as my morning cup of coffee with cinnamon. I did some stretches later in the evening. Working more on my abdomen and then legs. Just a small session as my legs where still really sore from Monday. For dinner we had fajitas with onion and tomatoes with steamed baby carrots on the side.
TODAY: Today I plan to of course clean my house, do my home maker duties. But I want to focus on my self today. I will use the Xbox Kinect to "play" or "work out too" The Biggest Looser. I really enjoy using this, but have never constantly used it to see any improvement. While I don't have a gym or the desire (or time) to go running everyday, I would like to have 15-20 minutes each day to stretch, work out or to break a sweat. Anything that will get my heart rate going each day will help me maintain the healthy life style I would like to live. I should say, my goal here is not to have the perfect body or to get my former size 00 pants back. I simply, just want to have a healthy life style. I want to feel healthy. While I would jump for joy with a nice firm tush and a flatter tummy, I am comfortable in my own skin. I want my daughter to look up to me as a roll model and showing her how to stay fit is really high on the list. So far, Cambria loves to help me dance or do sit ups. She makes it a challenge though! She is constantly jumping on me or trying to push me down.
How I am on day three: My body is sore and could use a really good massage (Jeremy! where are you?!). I am still sick so I feel like a mucus factory, gross I know sorry. But overall, I do feel better. I want to constantly do stuff regardless of how I feel. My new adventure is finally starting.

Day 1: a new start
DAY 1: March 11th 2013 - Monday
During the middle of the day, I take a VitaMelt when I need that boost of Energy to help me finish my daily tasks of being a stay at home wife and mother.
And of course my daughter Cambria ( she will be three June 6th 2013) has to take her daily vitamins! She takes one Flintstones and one chewable vitamin C. While her mommy and daddy where sick with a cold for almost a week, she was sick for a total of one day. Still having the energy to play all day. She had a slight runny nose and water eyes as well as the occasional cough. But beat it within 24 hrs, I have to give the credit to her daily intake of vitamins. She never lets me forget to give them to her!
I cringe as I look at these. Here are today's pictures. I'm thinking I will do pictures every two weeks to see if I am making progress and to help motivate me.

Today I woke up at 8:30 (yesterday was the first day of "spring forward" daylight savings). The first thing I did was take a few "before" pictures. Then proceeded to get my daughter some breakfast.
I wanted to try a concept I had just read about called Oil Pulling. Link can be found HERE. My teeth have been hurting lately due to my wisdom teeth growing in, my gums have been inflamed. On top of that I have a canker sore on my bottom gums. After I read this webpage, I knew I wanted to try it. Not only for the benefit of my gums, but for all the other great things Oil Pulling does. The website said to use vegetable oil, I chose to use Coconut oil.
Oil Pilling- I lasted 10 minutes. After words my teeth felt cleaner than they normally would if I just brushed my teeth. My canker sore isn't such a bother as it was when I woke up.
After my morning Oil Pilling I brushed my teeth then headed over to the kitchen for my morning cup of coffee and breakfast. I have a really bad habit of drinking coffee every morning, but I really enjoy it so Im not ready to give it up yet.
Coffee- To make my coffee just a tad bit healthier I add fresh ground cinnamon while brewing my organic fresh ground coffee beans. It gives it just small bang I need in my morning brew while also help maintaining my blood sugar for the day. (note: I do NOT have diabetes)
My husband is always telling me how important breakfast is. It should be your BIG meal of the day, and is the most important meal. I am trying my best to have a good breakfast every morning despite that fact I am hardly hungry in the AM. Having a good breakfast is certainly better than eating a sugary cereal.
Breakfast- Oatmeal with Chia seeds, cinnamon and apple granola. It was a bit plain, next time I plain to add a bit more granola and cinnamon.
I have been taking my vitamins everyday for just over 1 week now. I can already feel the energy I have gained, it gives me the kick start I need every morning to carry on with my daily tasks. I have been sick since last Wednesday and even though I was very sick with a nasty cold, I still had a ton of energy that I only have my Vitamins to thank for. While my husband laid sick on the couch like a little zombie attached to his video game sneezing and coughing. I was Busy cleaning the kitchen as I sneezed and coughed.
My daily vitamins-
I take:
-(2) Omega 3-6-9: Cardiovascular health
-(2) St. John Worts: Relieve anxiety and tension and to act as an antidepressant. pelvic pain and cramping. cancer-fighting drug. anti-inflammatory for strains, sprains, and contusions.
-(1) C & E: Antioxidant and helps collagen in the bones. as well as the immune system.
-(1) Niacin: Turns fat in to energy. As well as many other benefits listed in the link.
-(1)Biotin : Hair and nail growth.

My goal for today- I would like to not only clean up my house, it sure has been let go a bit since we have been sick. But I would like to do some sort of work out or stretches that my daughter can do with me as well. I also plan on making a food log so I can eat better and truly understand where my bad habits lye.
